Fixed or milk – about the risk of tooth sensitivity [webinar]
Today (Monday, May 31) at. 20:00 Dentonet portal.en and GSK with the Sensodyne brand invite you to the official webinar of the educational program "Repetitio est.." – "Permanent or deciduous – which teeth are more prone to sensitivity?" who will lead the drug. dent. Michal Dudzinski.
Although tooth sensitivity is more common in adults, children also suffer from it. This is primarily due to the fact that deciduous teeth are less mineralized than permanent dentition, and against the effects of adverse external factors (m.in. food, drinks and air at high or low temperatures) they are protected by a much thinner layer of enamel.
A significant cause of hypersensitivity in the youngest is also developing caries, often associated with poor diet (sugar supply) and neglect of oral hygiene (plaque or tartar).
In combating bothersome symptoms of hypersensitivity in children, it is helpful to change eating habits, proper tooth-brushing technique, but also dedicated agents with gentle but effective and immediate action.
